Brothers of the Feather Knives are designed and finished by Duane Dietzel. Since they are truly handmade, no two knives will be exactly alike. These knives are renowned for quality finish and functionality.

Meaningful Materials

Brothers of the Feather Knives are hand crafted using repurposed steels such as old hand saws, used table saw blades, and such.

When I receive a gift of metal from someone to turn into knives, I like to recognize them by naming the metal after them. I will mark knives “Hamilton Steel,” “Hamilton Stainless,” “Bucy Steel,” “Gladding HCS” (High Carbon), and the like. There is no relation to any steel manufacturing, knife manufacturing, or any other entity intended, suggested, or inferred by these markings. They simply identify who gave the steel to me as my personal “Thank You.”
